Montage instructies 

 Ball Mount Instructions for JBC985-3/3P
1. Using the backing plate locate the 3 3/16"
holes on the vehicle. Locate the holes in an
area where you can gain access to the inside to
tighten the 10x32" nuts.
2. Drill 3 3/16" to 1/4" holes.
3.Locate the center hole for the 1/4" nut. Drill
approximately a 1" hole.
4. Remove the 3 10x32 nuts, bolts, and washers
5. Remove the backing plate and rubber gasket.
6. Insert 2 bolts into the mount and rubber
gasket and extend them through the holes
drilled in the vehicle.
7. From inside the vehicle add the washers and
2 10x32" nuts. Tighten the 2 10x32" nuts with a
5/16" wrench.
8. With the coaxial cable strip 2" of the black
jacket off and seperate the braid from the
center conductor. Srip about 1/4"of insulation
off the center conductor.
9. Using the 2 terminals supplied with the
mount, crimp or solder them on the center
conductor and the braid.
10. Connect the terminals to the mount. The
center conductor to the center bolt. The braid to
the 10x32 bolt on the backing plate.
Note: The horse shoe backing plate may be
used to give the mount added strength.
