At Deltron, we do everything we can to process your order quickly, carefully, and securely. On this page, you will find all information about delivery times, shipping, stock statuses, carriers, and delivery.
We believe it is important to be clear and transparent. Therefore, we provide an indication of the delivery time for each product and keep you as well-informed as possible about the status of your order.

Shipping days
Orders are usually processed and shipped on the next business day.
However, no shipments take place on Wednesdays. Orders placed on Tuesdays after 12:00 PM or on Wednesdays will be processed and shipped from Thursday onwards. Orders placed on other business days before 12:00 PM are usually processed the same day or the next business day.
**We do not ship packages on Wednesdays**
Indicative delivery times
Each product on our website includes an indication of the expected delivery time.
For most orders, the following delivery times apply:
- Netherlands: on average 1 to 3 business days
- Belgium: on average 1 to 3 business days
- Other European countries: on average 3 to 6 business days
Note: For some products or special shipments, a different delivery time may apply. The current indication is always stated with the relevant product.
Busyness at parcel carriers
Although we do everything we can to ship orders as quickly as possible, after handing over the package, we are dependent on the carrier for further delivery.
Delays can occur due to, among other things:
- Busyness at carriers
- Holidays
- Weather conditions
- Logistical disruptions
- Customs controls
- Local circumstances
- Periods preceding (school) holidays
The stated delivery times are therefore indicative and not guaranteed delivery periods.
By law, web stores have a maximum delivery period of 30 days. Of course, we strive to deliver orders well within this period.
Track your order (Track & Trace)
Once your order has been processed and scanned by the carrier, you will automatically receive an email with:
- A Track & Trace code
- The name of the carrier
- Information about the delivery
You can track your order using this information. We recommend regularly checking the received Track & Trace information. As soon as the carrier makes new information available, it will be automatically updated.
Delivery times during busy periods
During busy periods, it may happen that carriers need more time to process and deliver packages. We are not automatically informed by carriers about every delay within their network. As soon as we are aware of structural delays, we will communicate this as clearly as possible via our website.
Do not refuse packages
If a package is delayed or you no longer want the order, we kindly request that you do not refuse the package at the door. Refused packages are often collected separately by carriers and processed later, which can significantly delay the return of the shipment to us.
Therefore, in case of questions or problems, always contact us first via support@deltron.nl. In many cases, it is quicker to accept the package and then return it in consultation with us.
Product availability
Each product indicates its availability. For some products, you may also see messages such as:
Inquire about delivery time
This usually means that the product is temporarily out of stock and that we are waiting for stock delivery from the manufacturer.
Delivery time upon request
This means that the product can be specially ordered for the customer.
Pre-order
This means that it is a new product that is expected soon. The customer can pre-order this product so that the customer has the product as one of the first once the initial stock is delivered by the manufacturer. This ensures you a copy.
Delivery time and stock
Deltron does its utmost to deliver orders within the Netherlands and Belgium within three business days, provided the products are in stock.
If a product is temporarily unavailable with us or one of our suppliers, we will inform you by e-mail about the expected delivery time. You will then receive:
- An update on the expected delivery time
- A shipping confirmation once the order is dispatched
All our offers are valid while supplies last, unless otherwise stated.
Changing an order
Have you placed an order and want to change, add, or correct something?
Please contact us as soon as possible. As long as the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will be happy to see if the change is still possible. Unfortunately, after processing or handover to the carrier, we can no longer make any changes.
Shipping methods
We work with various carriers, including:
- PostNL
- DPD
- GLS
- UPS
- FedEx
- Transmission
- Ben Becker Transport
The chosen carrier depends on:
- Weight
- Dimensions
- Destination
- Type of shipment
Different delivery times for long-item shipments
For packages longer than 100 cm, different delivery times often apply. The delivery time for long-item shipments varies per country and is on average between 2 and 6 business days. Important note: Long-item shipments cannot be delivered to a parcel locker, and in some cases, long packages are not delivered to a parcel point or parcel shop either.
Carriers and delivery
PostNL
When your order is shipped with PostNL, we advise you to use the PostNL app. With this app, you will receive up-to-date notifications about the delivery and can easily set delivery preferences.
DPD Predict
For shipments via DPD, you will receive a Track & Trace link and an indication of the delivery time window. In many cases, you can set additional delivery options via DPD.
GLS
For shipments via GLS, you will automatically receive a Track & Trace code. GLS will inform you about the expected delivery and any changes during transit.
UPS, FedEx, and international carriers
For international shipments, we collaborate with UPS, FedEx, and local carriers, among others. International delivery times can vary per country, region, and local circumstances.
Not home for delivery
If a standard package cannot be delivered, the carrier may choose to:
- Deliver the package to neighbors
- Attempt a new delivery
- Bring the package to a pick-up point
You will receive a message about this from the carrier. A valid ID may be required to pick up a package.
Uncollected or refused packages
If a package is not collected within the specified period, no new delivery appointment is made, or a package is refused, the shipment will be returned to Deltron. Upon receipt of the return, the order will be cancelled. The incurred shipping and return costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
Drop-off Authorization
Many carriers offer the option to leave a package without a signature. For example:
- At the front door
- In the shed
- With neighbors
- At another agreed-upon location
You set these preferences yourself via the carrier's app or website.
Important information about drop-off authorization: When you use a drop-off authorization, you give permission for the package to be left without a signature. From that moment on, the responsibility for the package lies with you as the recipient.
This means that:
- The risk of loss, theft, or damage is yours
- Deltron is not liable for loss or damage after delivery
- The carrier generally also accepts no liability for this
Having your order delivered to a pick-up point after you have placed it
Resending a package to a pick-up point after you've ordered is a convenient option these days.
- Have you just placed an online order, but realize you won't be home to receive the delivery person? Don't panic. Once a webshop hands over your package to a carrier, you can often still adjust the delivery to a pick-up point (parcel shop or parcel locker) nearby.
- Why a parcel locker often doesn't work for long packages: Parcel lockers (like those from PostNL or DPD) are ideal, but have strict physical limits. Long packages (such as curtain rods, fishing rods, or sports equipment) simply don't fit in the lockers. PostNL
- Parcel locker limit: The maximum length here is 70 cm. DPD Parcel locker limit: The maximum length here is 70 cm.
The alternative: For long packages, always choose a staffed parcel shop/parcel shop.
These stores often have larger storage spaces. Please note the absolute maximum lengths that carriers apply for pick-up points:
- DPD Parcelshop: Maximum 100 cm (1 meter). Longer packages (up to 175 cm) can only be delivered to home or business addresses.
- GLS Parcel Shop: Maximum 120 cm (for regular home delivery, GLS accepts up to 200 cm).
- PostNL Point: Maximum 100 cm (for XL home delivery, maximum 178 cm applies).
Step-by-step plan per carrier (before the first delivery attempt)
As soon as your package (barcode/track-and-trace) has been scanned by the parcel carrier, you can digitally change its delivery.
This is what you need to do per carrier:
DPD (Pickup parcelshop)
With DPD, you can adjust the delivery as soon as the shipment has been registered. This can be done very shortly before delivery. Wait for the Predict notification: You will receive an email or SMS as soon as DPD has sorted the package.
- Open the change page: Click on the change button in the DPD email or open the myDPD app. Choose your pick-up point: Select "Deliver to a Pickup parcelshop" and choose a location on the map.
- Timeline: This can be done up to 30 minutes before the driver's scheduled arrival.
- Collection period: The package will remain available for 7 calendar days.
GLS (Parcel Shop)
GLS offers flexible delivery options via their "FlexDeliveryService".
- Open Track & Trace: Click on the link in the email or SMS you receive from GLS as soon as the package is on its way.
- Adjust the delivery option: On the GLS delivery page, select the option "Deliver to a GLS Parcel Shop".
- Select the location: Find a connected store nearby.
- Timeline: This must be done before the night the package is loaded into the delivery van (usually before 11:59 PM on the evening before delivery).
- Collection period: The package will be held for you for 5 business days.
PostNL (PostNL-point)
With PostNL, you can easily adjust the delivery via your personal account.
- Log in: Open the PostNL app or go to the website and log in with your PostNL account.
- Find your package: The package will automatically appear in your overview as soon as the webshop has registered it.
- Change delivery: Click on the package and choose "Change delivery". Then select a PostNL point.
- Timeline: This can be done until the package leaves the sorting center (often until 06:00 AM on the day of delivery at the latest).
- Collection period: PostNL stores packages for 7 calendar days.
What if you are too late?
Should your package already be in the delivery van and you can no longer select a pick-up point, the delivery person will offer the package to your home. If you are not home, the package will in most cases still automatically be taken to the nearest pick-up point. You will then receive a notification of where and when you can pick it up.
Holidays and vacation periods
During holidays, vacations, trade shows or other special periods, it is still possible to place orders via our webshop.
However, orders may be processed or shipped later.
Carriers may also experience extra busy periods during these times, which can lead to longer delivery times than usual.
When there are adjusted processing times or modified availability, we will always communicate this clearly via our website.

Orders outside the European Union may be subject to:
