Delivery times

At Deltron, we do everything we can to make your online shopping experience as pleasant as possible. Our webshop is clearly laid out, with useful search functions, clear product descriptions, and comprehensive technical specifications – so you always know exactly what you're buying.

Ordered quickly = delivered as quickly as possible

You benefit from a wide range of products and fast delivery: within 1-3 working days (NL and BE) to your home, unless otherwise stated or in case of any delays due to busyness at the parcel carriers.

Changing an order

Have you just placed an order and it hasn't been processed yet, and you realize you forgot something or want to make a change? No problem! Please contact us quickly so we can still adjust your order before it leaves our warehouse.

Delivery and availability

At Deltron, we strive for fast and reliable delivery of all your orders. For standard orders to the Netherlands and Belgium, a delivery time of 1 to 3 working days applies, depending on the busyness of our parcel carriers. Please note that no packages are processed at the sorting center during the weekend. If you order after 12:00 PM, your order will be processed the next working day.

Product availability

You will find the specific delivery time for each product, but some products are marked with notes such as "inquire about delivery time," "delivery time upon request," or "Pre-order." This may mean that the product is temporarily out of stock or that availability depends on specific circumstances, such as size, weight, or limited production.

If a product is temporarily out of stock, we await a new delivery. For products marked "inquire about delivery time" or "delivery time upon request," these are often special orders. Due to their unique characteristics, these products can only be delivered upon order. If "Pre-order" is indicated next to the delivery time, you can pre-order or reserve the product. This ensures you will receive the product as soon as it becomes available and be among the first to have it.

Shipping methods

  • Standard shipments within the Netherlands are sent with PostNL, DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Shipments with a length of 100 cm to 200 cm within the Netherlands are sent with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Shipments with a length over 200 cm within the Netherlands are sent with UPS, FedEx, or Ben Becker Transport.
  • Standard shipments to Belgium & Luxembourg are sent with PostNL, DPD, or GLS.
  • Shipments with a length of 100 cm to 200 cm to Belgium & Luxembourg are sent with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Shipments with a length over 200 cm to Belgium & Luxembourg are sent with UPS, FedEx, or Ben Becker Transport.
  • Standard shipments to European countries are sent with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Shipments with a length of 100 cm to 200 cm to European countries are sent with DPD, GLS, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Shipments with a length over 200 cm to European countries are sent with UPS, FedEx, or Ben Becker Transport.

Important note regarding length shipments

For length packages over 100cm, the delivery time may be longer than standard stated on our website. Typically, the delivery time for length shipments is 2 to 7 working days.

Delivery outside the EU

Do you live outside the European Union? Then there are a few things you need to take into account. You can read all about it on our page "shipping to countries outside the EU".

Order processing within the EU

Orders are usually processed and shipped the next working day (except Wednesday). The delivery time for the Netherlands and Belgium is 1 to 3 working days; if it takes longer for any reason, you will receive an email from us.

Track your order

As soon as your order has been shipped and arrived at the sorting center (carrier's depot), your package will be scanned. You will then receive an email from our shipping system containing the barcode (track & trace) of your package. This email will also state which carrier we used to send the package.

PostNL App

We recommend installing the PostNL App on your smartphone or tablet and creating an account so you can track your package, if sent with PostNL, and know exactly when it will be delivered.

Through the App, you will regularly receive updates on your package until shortly before delivery to the delivery address. After the package has been delivered, you will receive one final update confirming delivery. This is because it sometimes happens that our customers do not receive an automatically generated email, or that the automatically generated email is sent but ends up in the spam folder. You also won't have to constantly search your email for updates regarding your package, as you'll receive them via the app in the form of a push notification on your phone, tablet, and even your smartwatch (iOS and Android).
An additional benefit of the PostNL App is that you can completely personalize it with settings for whether or not to deliver to neighbors, deliver to neighbors at specific house number(s), and set up a drop-off authorization if no one is home.  

Carriers and shipments

PostNL, in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, offers the package once at the delivery address you specified or to a neighbor. If you are not home, PostNL will take the package to a collection point where you can pick it up with valid identification and the package number. You will receive a message in the PostNL app with the address where you can pick up your package and when it will be ready for collection. You must pick up your package within 7 working days at the specified collection point.

GLS (and other carriers) offer standard (EU) and long shipments (BNL & EU) once at the address you provided. Standard packages will be taken to a collection location if they cannot be delivered on the first attempt. You will receive an email indicating where and when the package will be at the collection location. You must bring valid identification for collection. Long shipments (over 100 cm) are only delivered to the home address. Someone authorized to sign must be present for this. Long shipments (over 100 cm) will NOT be taken to a collection location. All long shipments (over 100 cm) will be returned to the carrier's depot where you can arrange a delivery appointment.

Uncollected or refused shipments

If you do not pick up the package within 7 working days at the collection point, do not make an appointment for a new delivery time, or refuse the package upon delivery, the package will be returned to us. As soon as the shipment is received back by us, the order will be canceled. The incurred shipping and return costs of the carrier will then be deducted from the refund amount. (for the Netherlands, this is €7.95 outbound + €7.95 return; for all other countries, this will be 2x the paid shipping costs).

Picking up your order without shipping costs

Delivery time and stock

Deltron does its best to deliver your order (within NL and BE) to your address within 3 working days, provided the products are in stock. If your product is not in stock with us or one of our suppliers, the delivery time may be longer. You will then automatically receive an email indicating the expected delivery time. A second message will be sent when we actually ship the order. Offers are valid while supplies last, unless otherwise stated.

📦 Delivery & drop-off authorization

At Deltron, we work with various carriers, such as GLS, DPD, PostNL, UPS, FedEx, Transmission, and Ben Becker Transport. The conditions of the respective carrier apply to the delivery of your order.

📍 Drop-off authorization (delivering package without signature)

Many carriers offer the option of giving a so-called drop-off authorization, such as PostNL delivery preferences and UPS My Choice. This means you give the delivery person permission to leave the package at a location chosen by you, for example:

  • At the front door
  • In the garden or shed
  • With a neighbor
  • At another agreed location

You can set this up yourself via the app, website, the carrier's customer portal, or by phone with the transporter.  

⚠️ Liability for drop-off authorization

When you use a drop-off authorization, you give permission for the package to be delivered without a signature.

👉 Important:

From the moment you have given drop-off authorization, responsibility lies with you as the recipient.

This means that:

  • The risk of damage, loss, or theft lies with you
  • Deltron is not liable for loss or damage
  • The carrier bears no liability for the package

By setting up a drop-off authorization, you accept these conditions.

Delivery preferences and delivery

Many carriers offer additional options, such as:

  • Changing delivery time
  • Delivery to a parcel point
  • Delivery to neighbors
  • Specific delivery instructions

You set these preferences yourself via the carrier, and they fall under their responsibility and conditions.

Our advice

Do you want maximum certainty about receiving your order?
Then choose delivery with a signature or have your package delivered to a location where someone is present.
