HammerHead Glass Keeper

The HammerHead Glass Keeper is designed to maximize the chances of survival for car accident victims. It is critical that injured people are removed from the vehicle as quickly and safely as possible.

When one or more victims are trapped in the vehicle and the car window is broken to gain access, a dangerous situation can arise or (additional) injuries can be caused to the victims. The broken glass that will splash into the vehicle leaves razor-sharp shards that cause unnecessary injuries when quickly removing the victims. It is important that emergency services and rescue workers can do their work as quickly as possible and with as little hindrance as possible.

The Glass Keeper is therefore designed to be used by emergency services such as firefighters and police who can safely and quickly "pull away" a car window instead of smashing it.

The Glass Keeper adhesive film is attached to the car window and secures the glass. The emergency services can then break the window with a sturdy and heavy object. After the window is broken, the Glass Keeper retains 95% of the broken glass. The emergency services can then easily remove the Glass Keeper - the entire process takes less than 45 seconds. This allows the emergency services to have immediate access to the victims.

With a Glass Keeper, a first responder can easily, safely and quickly remove a car window without injuring the victim in the car. A dirty or wet car window also has no effect on the adhesive strength of the Glass Keeper.
