The Comet CHV-5A is the improved successor to the popular CHV-5X – a lightweight and versatile multiband dipole antenna for the 7, 14, 18, 21, 28, and 50 MHz bands. Its compact design makes it ideal for portable use, smaller gardens, or mounting on balconies and porches.
The CHV-5A can be easily set up in a V-shape, horizontally, or as a ground plane , depending on your situation and available space. Frequency tuning is easily adjusted thanks to the included wideband balun. New to this version is the addition of an 18 MHz element and a selective 14 MHz installation option.
