Thanks to its optimized fiberglass construction, the FL4 is no less than 40% lighter than the Firestik FS series, while exerting up to 60% less pressure on your mount.

Smooth tuning not only means better performance but also wider bandwidth and increased power handling – ideal for use with all 27Mhz transceivers, including AM, FM, and SSB.

Every Firestik FL4 antenna is 100% made in the USA and constructed from American reinforced fiberglass material, wound with heavily insulated copper wire to prevent oxidation and short circuits. The adjustable tip consists of stainless brass with a rubber O-ring for secure fixation. The tapered thread ensures a stable connection that resists vibrations.
Installation tips for optimal performance
For proper operation, a metal ground (mass) is essential. Preferably use a Firestik Stud mount for reliable attachment. Please note: powder coatings or paint must be removed at the mounting point down to the bare metal for good electrical contact.
