The Firestik FS3-SMK is a high-quality 27MHz antenna of the top-loaded 5/8-wave type with a length of 90cm. This mobile antenna comes with a robust 3-way mounting bracket and 550cm Fire-Flex coaxial cable (RG-58A/U) with screw-on PL-259 connectors. Thanks to its versatile mounting options, this antenna can be easily mounted on a mirror arm, railing, or flat vertical surface.

Important installation advice
- Ground-plane dependent – This antenna requires a metal ground plane for optimal operation. Not suitable for vehicles without sufficient metal.
- Good grounding required – Mounting brackets and stud mounts must be properly grounded. Paint, powder coating, and anodizing layers can interfere with grounding and should be removed at the contact point.
