The Firestik FS4-SMK is a high-quality 27MHz antenna with everything you need for a powerful and reliable communication connection. This kit includes a 120 cm (4 ft.) top-loaded 5/8-wave antenna, a robust 3-way mounting bracket, and a 5.5-meter (RG-58A/U) Fire-Flex coaxial cable with screw-on PL-259 connectors.

Important installation advice
- Ground-plane dependent – This antenna requires a metal ground plane for optimal operation. Not suitable for vehicles without sufficient metal.
- Good grounding required – Brackets and stud mounts must be properly grounded. Paint, powder coating, and anodization layers can interfere with grounding and should be removed at the point of contact.
