Instructions for tuning a TRIM-TO-TUNE antenna
- Remove the cap.
- Using a knife, make vertical slits in the tube at the top of the stick (approximately 1-1.5 cm long)
- Pull back the cut fiberglass pieces slightly to expose the wire (core).
- Cut a small piece off the wire and push the wire back into place.
- Replace the tip
- Measure the SWR again.
- Repeat the procedure if necessary until the antenna has a well-tuned SWR.
