The JCD 201 M desk microphone is a high-quality and robust microphone, designed for optimal performance in various applications, from professional control rooms to hobbyists working with SSB modulation. The microphone is equipped with an advanced echo function and a powerful compressor, ensuring clear and distinct communication, even with weak signals. Thanks to the adjustable compressor, you can adjust the audio for both SSB and FM use, which significantly improves intelligibility in difficult conditions.
The JCD 201 M desk microphone offers the flexibility of two outputs, allowing you to easily switch between two transceivers. You can easily choose between transceiver A or transceiver B via a user-friendly switch. With the PTT button and the PTT-lock function, you are assured of reliable operation and communication. In addition, the microphone features a VU meter for a clear readout of the signal strength.
A convenient extra feature is the UP/Down function, which allows you to operate the transceiver if this function is supported. For added convenience, a footswitch can be connected, allowing you to communicate hands-free – ideal for situations where you need to keep your hands free, such as in a central control room, fixed station, or radio shack.
Thanks to the sturdy and practical design of the JCD 201 M desk microphone, including its clear controls and operation at 12V (connect the red cable to an external power supply), this microphone is both mobile and easy to use. The 6-pin connector makes connecting to various devices a breeze.
The JCD 201 M desk microphone is only suitable for the Midland 48 Pro. (Note: not suitable for the old versions of the Midland 48). Due to the use of high-quality materials and smart functions, this microphone is ideal for both professional and recreational use.
