What makes the JIM M-75 so special?

Warnings:
- A rechargeable 9V NiCad or NiMH battery can be used to power the M-75, but it must be charged separately with a dedicated charger. Charging the battery via the M-75's external 12V DC connection is not possible.
- When using an external power supply without a battery in the M-75, it's recommended to cover the battery contacts with plastic tape or similar insulation. This prevents them from touching the metal casing and causing a voltage drop.
If you're using an external power supply, we recommend installing a 9V battery in the M-75.
