Are you looking for a professional radio headset that allows you to communicate discreetly even in noisy environments? The Komunica PWR-TUB-ICF-30 headset combines a transparent acoustic tube with a clip-on microphone and PTT button. This allows you to listen to incoming communications directly in your ear and respond easily without having to operate the radio itself every time.
This Icom radio headset was developed for compatible Icom radios with the ICF30 connection. The combination of an acoustic tube and compact microphone makes the headset particularly suitable for professional use where clear and discreet communication is important.
Discreet listening with an acoustic tube
The transparent acoustic tube delivers sound to the ear and is less noticeable when worn than many traditional headsets. This makes the Komunica PWR-TUB-ICF-30 interesting for applications such as security, events, surveillance, and other professional uses.
According to Komunica, the headset is designed for use in noisy environments. The included PWR-ET4 earphone has an impedance of 32 ohms and a specified output level of 100 dB at 0.05 watts and 0.01 meters according to IEC-318.
Key features:
- Acoustic headset: transparent tube for discreet listening
- Clip-on microphone with PTT: communicate without having to hold the radio every time
- For noisier environments: designed for clear radio communication
- Icom connection: 6-pin angled connector with ICOM ICF30 wiring (Type-ICF30)
- Professional application: suitable for security, events, surveillance, and more
Clip-on microphone with PTT control
The microphone unit features a clip that allows you to easily attach it to your clothing. The integrated PTT (Push-To-Talk) button activates the transmitter of the connected radio. This allows you to respond quickly while the radio remains attached to your belt or equipment.
The omnidirectional electret condenser microphone has a specified sensitivity of -38 dB (1 V/1 Pa) and an output impedance of 2 kΩ. The microphone unit measures approximately 32 x 16 x 15 mm.
Which Icom radios is this headset compatible with?
The Komunica PWR-TUB-ICF-30 features an angled 6-pin ICF30 connector and is listed as compatible with various Icom models in the product specifications, including the IC-F30, IC-F31, IC-F31GS/GT, IC-F40, IC-F41G, IC-F50, IC-F51, IC-F60, IC-F61, IC-F70, IC-F80, IC-F3160, IC-F3161, IC-F4160, IC-F4161, IC-F3061, IC-F4061, and IC-M87/88.
Because different connections or versions may occur within model series, we recommend always checking before ordering whether your Icom radio actually uses the 6-pin ICF30 connection (Type-ICF30).
Replaceable parts
A practical advantage of this Komunica headset is that parts of the acoustic section are available separately. For maintenance or replacement, the AC-Bud replacement earbud and AC-Tube transparent replacement tube are available, among others. This means you do not have to purchase a completely new radio headset immediately if these parts wear out.
The Komunica PWR-TUB-ICF-30 is supplied as a complete microphone/headset combination with an acoustic tube. The EAN code is 8435757708046.
