The Midland Alan 42 DS has improved electronics to make the audio experience even more unique. The Midland Alan 42DS is equipped with digital squelch, ANL filters and noise blanker which eliminates interference from external sources or motor vehicles. The Midland Alan 42DS has the same features as the Midland 42 and is a multi-standard transceiver which allows you to select any European band and operate in all EU countries.
The digital squelch is the automatic squelch control that avoids the use of manual regulation; it is automatically activated by the input signal received. The Noise Blanker and ANL filters improve the sound and make it clearer, eliminating interferences from external sources such as the ignition noise. Among the various functions we highlight the EMG function for the immediate selection of emergency channel, high and low power (4Watt / 1Watt), the SCAN and Dual Watch functions.
