Midland ER Emergency Backpack – 72-Hour Emergency Backpack with ER300 PRO

What do you need when power, internet, or other daily amenities unexpectedly fail? With the Midland ER Emergency Backpack, you have important emergency equipment neatly organized in one portable bag. This complete emergency backpack is designed to help you prepare for the first 72 hours of an emergency, such as a prolonged power outage, extreme weather, or evacuation.

The set combines a spacious 28-liter backpack with, among other things, the Midland ER300 PRO emergency radio, which is equipped with a 10,000 mAh powerbank, hand crank, solar charging, and LED lamp. The backpack also contains a stainless steel multitool, water containers, thermal emergency blankets, an emergency whistle, and waterproof storage pouches.

This means you don't have to search for all the basic equipment separately. You have one organized 72-hour emergency kit that you can keep ready at home or easily take with you when needed.

What is the Midland ER Emergency Backpack?

The Midland ER Emergency Backpack is a pre-packed 28-liter emergency backpack organized around ten important categories for emergency preparedness, inspired by European recommendations.

The basic principle is simple: during the first hours and days of a disaster, you want to be able to quickly find and take important tools with you. Think of a radio and communication, lighting, power supply, water storage, warmth, important documents, and practical tools.

The bag helps you keep these emergency supplies organized together. Some of them are included. You add personal items such as medication, food, money, and documents yourself. This allows you to turn the Midland Emergency Backpack into an emergency kit that suits your household and personal situation.

ER300 PRO emergency radio: communication, light, and energy

An important part of this emergency backpack is the Midland ER300 PRO Emergency Radio. This gives you several functions in one device.

Via the built-in AM/FM radio, you can receive radio broadcasts when the internet or mobile services are unavailable. The ER300 PRO also has an integrated 10,000 mAh Li-ion powerbank with a USB output, which can provide power to compatible mobile devices.

There are several ways to charge the ER300 PRO. In addition to USB, the radio features an integrated solar panel and a hand crank generator. This means you can generate energy yourself when no regular power supply is available. The radio also has an LED flashlight, SOS light and sound function, digital clock, headphone jack, Bluetooth speaker, and an ultrasonic dog whistle function.

28-liter emergency backpack for home and travel

All components are stored in a spacious 28-liter Midland Backpack measuring approximately 300 × 600 × 200 mm. The bag has a water-resistant treatment and durable construction, and features waterproof storage compartments to better protect important items from moisture.

This is especially practical when you want to carry documents, electronics, medication, or other sensitive items.

The set also includes three transparent waterproof sleeves in sizes S, M, and L. These sealed pouches are designed to store items such as documents, electronics, medication, valuables, and food in their original packaging in an organized and protected manner.

There is also a separate accessory bag that you can use for shoes or additional equipment.

Carrying and using water

Water is an important part of preparing for any emergency. That is why the Midland ER Emergency Backpack contains two foldable water containers, each with a capacity of 8 liters.

Together, they provide space for up to 16 liters of water. The containers are portable and feature a dispensing system that can also be practical for personal hygiene and controlled water use. Because the containers are carried empty and folded, they take up relatively little space when not in use.

Multitool for practical tasks

In an emergency, small practical problems can suddenly become important. That is why a stainless steel multitool is included. This combines several tools, including a knife, pliers, bottle opener, screwdriver, can opener, saw, and file. This gives you access to several basic tools without having to carry a complete toolbox.

Warmth and visibility during an emergency

The set also contains two Emergency Thermal Blankets. These thermal emergency blankets are designed to better retain body heat and provide protection when you unexpectedly encounter cold conditions.

For signaling, an emergency whistle with a built-in compass is included. In combination with the SOS functions and lighting of the ER300 PRO, this gives you several options for light and signaling at hand.

What is inside the Midland ER Emergency Backpack?

The complete set consists of:

• 28L Emergency Backpack: water-resistant backpack with waterproof storage options
• Midland ER300 PRO: AM/FM emergency radio with 10,000 mAh powerbank, solar panel, hand crank, and LED lighting
• Emergency equipment: stainless steel multitool, emergency whistle with compass, and two thermal emergency blankets
• Water & storage: 2 × 8-liter foldable water containers and three waterproof sleeves (S/M/L)
• Extra: accessory bag for additional equipment or shoes and a set of playing cards

What else do you need to add to the emergency backpack?

A 72-hour emergency kit is personal. How much food, water, medication, and other supplies you need depends, for example, on the number of people in your household and personal circumstances.

Midland has therefore designed the Emergency Backpack as a comprehensive basic kit that you can further supplement yourself. Think, for example, of personal documents, necessary medication, suitable non-perishable food, and cash.

The included waterproof sleeves help to store this personal emergency supply neatly and protected in the backpack.

Why a pre-packed emergency backpack for 72 hours?

During a power outage or other disruption of daily amenities, it is convenient when important items are not scattered throughout the house. With a 72-hour emergency backpack, you have much of your basic equipment in one fixed place.

This is not only practical when you have to stay at home. When you unexpectedly have to leave, you can take the backpack with you immediately. The Midland ER Emergency Backpack can therefore have a fixed place in the home, but is also interesting for use in, for example, a motorhome, caravan, or during outdoor activities.

Also suitable for preppers, survival, and outdoor use

Although the Midland ER Emergency Backpack is primarily designed for emergency preparedness, many components are also useful during camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

After all, the emergency radio, powerbank, hand crank, solar charging, multitool, water containers, flashlight, and thermal blankets are also practical in locations where power and other amenities are limited.

This makes this emergency kit interesting for both people who want to be better prepared at home and preppers and outdoor enthusiasts who like to carry practical emergency equipment.

One organized base for the first 72 hours

You cannot predict an emergency. You can, however, make sure that important tools are gathered together in advance.

With the Midland ER Emergency Backpack, you choose a comprehensive and portable base for your emergency supply. The combination of a 28-liter backpack, ER300 PRO emergency radio with 10,000 mAh powerbank, hand crank, and solar charging, water storage, multitool, thermal blankets, and other emergency supplies helps you keep important equipment organized and within reach.

Supplement the backpack with your own water, food, medication, documents, and other personal items, and turn it into an emergency kit that suits your situation.

Prepare before it is needed. Order the Midland ER Emergency Backpack and give your most important emergency equipment one fixed, portable place.
