The stainless steel whip of this Moonraker 20M antenna is adjustable. This allows you to tune the antenna for the lowest possible SWR within the part of the 20-metre band where you are mainly active.
Moonraker states a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better and a bandwidth of approximately 150 kHz. Please note that the final SWR and tuning also depend on factors such as the mounting location, mass, cabling, and the vehicle.
The AMPRO-20HP features a 3/8"-24 threaded connection. This allows the antenna to be quickly mounted and removed when using a suitable antenna mount. The set whip can then simply remain in position, so you do not have to retune the antenna from scratch every time.
