This Plegium Smart mini defense spray is a smaller version of Plegium's self-defense spray collection. This handy little spray contains menthol, red dye, and UV marker fluid. The mini defense spray comes with a quick-release keychain so you can easily attach it to your jacket, bag, key ring, or other clothing or item . When you need the spray, you can easily and quickly detach it from the keychain with one hand.
- Menthol: The menthol in this self-defense spray works effectively on the attacker in the form of eye irritation and temporary blindness.
- Red dye and UV marker: The red dye and UV marker in this spray mark the attacker, making them identifiable to the police for a long time. The red dye is very difficult to wash off skin and clothing. The UV marker, which is almost invisible to the naked eye, remains for a very long time and is visible with a UV lamp.
- Contact Alerting: Plegium is, so far, the only brand in the world to offer a self-defense spray with a free smartphone app that alerts selected contacts as soon as the spray is used.
What do you need to do to use this self-defense spray?
First, you need to install the free Plegium app and connect your Plegium smart spray, as explained in the product video (located between the product photos). Then, in the Plegium app, you can select up to two contacts who you want to be notified immediately when you use the self-defense spray.
What happens when you use the self-defense spray?
As soon as you use the self-defense spray, all the contacts you selected in the Plegium app will be called immediately. These contacts will hear a voice message confirming that you've used the smart defense spray and that you need assistance. They will also be notified that a text message will be sent during the call. The text message sent to all your selected contacts will contain a link to their exact GPS location. Clicking this link will immediately show your exact location in Google Maps and allow them to start their route to you.

The Plegium app is free to download from the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android) and easy to install on your smartphone and connect to your self-defense spray.
