Do you want to mount a QuickConnect antenna securely on your boat, yet be able to easily fold it down or remove it? The Shakespeare QCM-S is a stainless steel mounting bracket for the Shakespeare QC-3, QC-4, and QC-8 antennas. The bracket combines robust stainless steel construction with the practical Quick Connect system and comes with an integrated 6.09-meter RG58 coaxial cable.
This version is designed for marine and water sports applications where ease of use and solid mounting are important. Thanks to the adjustable ratchet mechanism, the antenna can be mounted both on deck and against a side surface.
Quick Connect system for easy antenna removal
The big advantage of this Shakespeare mounting bracket is the QuickConnect system. This allows you to easily remove a suitable antenna from the holder without having to reinstall the coaxial cable every time.
This is useful, for example, when you want to temporarily remove the antenna for transport, maintenance, or storage of the boat. The holder also has a quick-release lever that allows the mounted antenna to be easily folded down.
The four-way ratchet adjustment gives you various options to adjust the antenna's position to the installation.
Includes RG58 cable and PL-259 connector
The QCM-S comes complete with a 6.09-meter RG58 coaxial cable. At the top is the Shakespeare QuickConnect connection for the antenna. At the other end, the cable is equipped with a UHF (PL) male connector.
A Centerpin® PL-259 connector is also included for easy installation without soldering.
When the antenna is removed from the holder, the included water and dust protection cap protects the connection. The protective cap remains attached to the mounting bracket, so you won't easily lose it.
For VHF and watersports
Do you use a compatible Shakespeare QC antenna for your VHF radio or other suitable marine radio installation on board? Then the QCM-S provides the matching stainless steel base for mounting.
The holder is suitable for QuickConnect antennas up to 8 ft, or approximately 2.4 meters, in length. The combination of stainless steel, the adjustable mechanism, and the integrated cable makes this mounting bracket a practical solution for use on a boat.
