The Sigma Euro-Comm Delta 40 HP is an advanced full wave loop antenna designed for optimum performance on the 40m (7 MHz), 15m (21 MHz) and 10m (28 MHz) bands without an antenna tuner (ATU), and on other bands with an ATU. This antenna is equipped with a 4:1 balun at the feed point, allowing it to be fed directly with 50 Ohm coaxial cable. For best results, RG-213 or Mini 8 coax is recommended, although other 50 Ohm coax variants can be used.
Installation and use
The Delta 40 HP is supplied complete with three insulators for anchoring points. The antenna can be mounted horizontally as a square loop or equilateral triangle, or mounted vertically or at an angle. When mounted horizontally the antenna is ideal for close range DX or NVIS communications. When mounted vertically or at an angle the antenna is suitable for long distance communications (DX).
