The Sirio GP 108-136 LB N is a professional Sirio wideband antenna, specifically designed for the airband and reliable air traffic communication. With a wide frequency range of 108–136 MHz , this antenna is ideal for fixed installations where continuity, clarity, and stability are essential.

This 1/4 λ ground plane Airband antenna is designed for both receiving (RX 108–136 MHz) and transmitting (TX 118–136 MHz) within the VHF airband. Thanks to its wide-band design, no alignment is required. The antenna is "no-tune", which means you immediately benefit from an optimal SWR ratio across the entire frequency range. This makes it particularly suitable for situations where multiple frequencies within the airband are used – without having to change antennas.

Reliable performance for air traffic communications

With a gain of up to 2.15 dBi, this antenna delivers a stable and consistent signal. Its omnidirectional radiation pattern provides 360-degree coverage, ideal for communicating with air traffic from multiple directions. Linear vertical polarization supports clear, interference-free transmission.

The integrated DC ground protection protects against static discharge. This increases operational reliability and protects connected equipment – a key advantage for permanent installations.

With a maximum transmit power of 1000 watts (CW) at 30°C , this antenna is designed for professional use and long-term deployment. Durably built for permanent installation . The Sirio GP 108-136 LB N is constructed of anodized aluminum, combined with stainless steel mounting hardware and high-quality nylon components. This guarantees excellent resistance to harsh weather conditions.

Mounting is easy on top of a mast. The FT-2 mounting kit is available as an option for side mounting next to the mast.
