The Solarcon Antron A99 is a high-performance antenna designed for precise tuning and robust performance. The Antron A99 features dual adjustment rings that allow you to easily optimize SWR across a wide frequency range. Turning the rings up increases frequencies, while turning them down decreases them. Made of durable fiberglass, the Antron A99 offers exceptional strength and minimizes the risk of breakage.

About the Solarcon Antron A99

Connector on the bottom section: When measuring with a multimeter on the UHF Female (PL-259) between the conductor and ground, a short circuit will be detected. This is due to the special design of the A99, which differs significantly from most "regular" antennas. This result is the same whether you check only the bottom section or all sections.

Middle Section: When measuring with a multimeter between the top and bottom of the middle section, continuity will be displayed.

The Capacitor: The Max2000 has a capacitor in the center section because it is a 5/8 wave antenna, but there is NO capacitor in the center section of the A99 because it is a 1/2 wave antenna.

Color: There is always a slight color difference between the bottom and middle/top sections. This difference is due to variations in the production of these sections.
