The SPINNER BN432010 is a high-quality straight coaxial adapter for connecting a 4.3-10 Female connector to an N-Female connector. This professional 4.3-10 adapter has been developed for RF installations where low reflections, excellent passive intermodulation, and a reliable connection are important.

With a frequency range from DC to 6 GHz, a maximum passive intermodulation (IM3) of -165 dBc, and a low VSWR, the BN432010 is suitable for demanding mobile communication installations. These include Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) in buildings and mobile base stations.

From 4.3-10 Female to N-Female

RF installations do not always use the same connector standards. A coaxial adapter then forms the transition between two different interfaces without the need to modify existing cabling or equipment.

The SPINNER BN432010 combines a 4.3-10 Female 50 Ω connection according to IEC 61169-54 with an N-Female 50 Ω connection according to IEC 61169-16. Both connections are in a straight configuration.

This N-Female to 4.3-10 adapter thus offers a practical transition when equipment, antennas, or transmission lines with these two different RF interfaces need to be connected.

Excellent RF performance up to 6 GHz

For an RF adapter, not only the correct connector combination is important. The electrical properties of the transition also play a significant role. SPINNER has designed its high-frequency adapters for the lowest possible reflection and reliable transmission of RF signals.

The BN432010 can be used over a frequency range from DC to 6 GHz. The maximum VSWR is 1.02 up to 2 GHz, 1.04 between 2 and 3 GHz, and 1.08 between 3 and 6 GHz.

In addition, the maximum passive intermodulation (IM3) is -165 dBc. These properties make the adapter suitable for professional RF and mobile communication installations where high demands are placed on signal quality.

Robust construction with IP68 protection

Mechanically, this SPINNER coaxial adapter has also been developed for professional use. The inner conductor consists of a copper alloy with a silver-plated surface. For the outer conductor, a copper alloy with CuSnZn coating is used, and the insulation consists of PTFE.

The adapter has a specified protection rating of IP68, provided that the 4.3-10 Female and N-Female connections are connected with the appropriate seals.

Weighing approximately 45 grams, the adapter is also compact and easy to integrate into existing RF installations.

What do you use this 4.3-10 adapter for?

The SPINNER BN432010 4.3-10 adapter is intended for professional applications where a 4.3-10 Female interface needs to be connected to an N-Female interface. An important application is mobile communication, both indoors via Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and outdoors at mobile base stations.

The 4.3-10 connector system combines compact dimensions with good electrical performance and robustness. The N-connector, in turn, is a widely used RF interface for applications with high mechanical and electrical requirements. With the BN432010, both interfaces can be reliably combined in one installation.

Key features:

  • Straight coaxial adapter from 4.3-10 Female to N-Female
  • 50 Ω impedance and frequency range from DC to 6 GHz
  • Low VSWR of maximum 1.02 up to 2 GHz
  • Excellent passive intermodulation (IM3) of maximum -165 dBc
  • IP68 protection when correctly connected with appropriate seals
