The Ecoflex 7 FRNC coaxial cable is an ultra-flexible solution, designed for frequencies up to 6 GHz . With an outer diameter of 7.3 mm and a low bending radius, this cable offers exceptionally low attenuation values, ideal for various RF applications.
The low attenuation values of the Ecoflex 7 FRNC are achieved through advanced production techniques and a low loss PE-LLC dielectric with a foam content of more than 70%. This dielectric ensures water resistance and long-term stability. The inner conductor consists of 19 strands of oxygen-deficient copper (OFC), which contributes to the remarkable flexibility of the cable.
The cable has a double shielding: overlapping copper foil with a PE coating and an additional shielding of copper wires with 85% coverage. This construction prevents cracking at short radius bends and offers excellent protection against interference. The sheath is made of a special thermoplastic copolymer (FRNC), which is flame-retardant and halogen-free. As a result, the Ecoflex 7 FRNC has a low fire load, limited flame spread and minimal smoke emission, which significantly reduces the amount of toxic and corrosive gases during combustion.
