The SSB SP 200 PreAmp Switchable 145 MHz is the solution for radio amateurs looking for a reliable and powerful preamplifier for the 2 meter band . This low-noise mast preamp not only delivers an excellent gain of 8 to 18 dB, but also protects your antenna system from interference thanks to advanced amplitude limiters on the input and output.
With the robust coax relays for automatic transmit/receive switching, and support for sequencer-controlled switching, this mast preamp offers a high power handling capacity of up to 750 Watts PEP. If you use the VOX circuit, the maximum allowable transmit power is still impressive: 200W PEP.
The SP200 can be powered locally via a UHF connector (SO-239) or remotely via the coaxial cable. Thanks to the precise 50 Ohm design, you maintain perfect tuning of your antenna system – essential when using highly optimized narrowband antennas.
