Gear Keeper

Gear Keeper has been part of Deltron (formerly Truckerswereld and Radioamateurwinkel) for many years. For the specific Gear Keeper products, we have a separate website where you can find the entire product line, such as tool tethers, retractors, parts, and accessories, clearly arranged and detailed.

Gear Keeper by Hammerhead

A retractor is used to attach items such as tools, fishing pliers, hand tools, cameras, keys, ID cards, access passes, key fobs, etc., so that you cannot lose or drop the attached products.

The special tool tethers are even designed for working at heights, for example, on scaffolding, so that if a cordless drill slips from your hands or a cordless screwdriver is on the scaffolding, it cannot fall down because it is secured to a tool tether, and the tool tether, in turn, is attached to a person or the scaffolding.

Our webshop offers a wide range of high-quality products that increase your safety and efficiency during work. For all your Gear Keeper products, we invite you to our specialized webshop, Gearkeepershop.com. Discover more about our top products and why you should choose Gear Keeper.

Gear Keeper retractors

A Gear Keeper retractor is an innovative retractable system for various applications. Each retractor has a sturdy housing with an internal retractable system to which a line is attached. Depending on the model, you can choose from various attachments such as a snap-clip, rotating belt clip, screw pin, or carabiner. These attachments make it easy to attach the retractor to your belt, D-ring, or other opening or textile.

At the bottom of the retractor is a Quick Connect connector with various options such as a split ring or cord with a stopper. This connector allows you to easily attach tools, utensils, or hand tools. By choosing the right retraction force, you will always find a retractor that perfectly matches the weight of your tools. Moreover, you can choose a model with a locking mechanism, with which you can secure the line so that the retractor does not pull the line back when it slackens.

Safety lanyards and tool tethers

Our safety lanyards and tool tethers are designed to increase safety during work at heights. These lines offer 61% stretch and are essential for securely fastening tools. On one side of the line is a securement, such as a carabiner or loop, which you can attach to scaffolding, a frame, or a person. On the other side, you will find attachments such as an aluminum carabiner or stainless steel ring for your tools.

The use of safety lanyards prevents dangerous situations where tools can fall from your hand or accidentally be knocked down. This minimizes the risk of injury to people working or passing under the workplace.

Prevent accidents with a Gear Keeper Tool Tether

Prevent accidents: Work safely at heights with a Gear Keeper tool tether
Why use a GearKeeper tool tether? When you work at height, such as on scaffolding, a tool tether prevents your tools from falling. This is crucial for the safety of yourself and bystanders, such as pedestrians and cyclists.

A falling tool, such as a cordless screwdriver, hits the ground at high speed and force. Due to gravity and air resistance, an 850-gram object falling from 3 meters can generate an impact that feels many kilograms heavier. This can cause serious damage or injury.

With a GearKeeper tool tether, you secure your tools and prevent dangerous situations. Work safely, prevent accidents, and protect both yourself and others!
