The AOR AR2300 IQ Black Box "Special Edition" is an advanced wideband communications receiver covering frequencies from 40 kHz to 3150 MHz. With support for USB, LSB, CW, Wide FM, Narrow FM, and AM modes, this receiver offers versatile signal detection, monitoring, recording, and playback.
Digital Signal Processing:
- DSP Processor: Converts analog signals to digital after the 45.05 MHz IF
- No AGC in Analog Unit: All processing, including AGC, is performed by DSP
- High-Quality Analog Front-End: Based on a computer-simulated distribution constant filter
- Local DDS Oscillator: Direct digital synthesis for high speed frequency switching

- IF output: Analog IF of 15 MHz (+/- 7.5 MHz) bandwidth
- Digital I/Q Output: 0.9 MHz digital I/Q signal via USB 2.0
- Accurate frequency reference: 0.01 ppm stability with optional GPS receiver
- FFT Analyzer: 10 MHz wide spectrum data via serial output
- Video Demodulation: Ability to demodulate signals from FM security cameras and analog TV broadcasts using an external TV monitor
