Versatile connections

The Desktop MKII is equipped with two 4mm screw terminals on the rear for mono speaker level signals (4 or 8 ohms) , and a stereo 3.5mm "Line Level" input , ideal for SDR radios, Elecraft and FlexRadio products. In addition, the speaker has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the side for mono or stereo headphones. Power is supplied via a 12V DC connection with a 2.1mm jack (center + ve).

Adjustable filter level control

The noise reduction can be easily switched on and off by pressing the filter level control. The rotary knob allows you to adjust the filter level in real time to suit your listening conditions, with a noise reduction ranging from 9 to 40 dB (8 levels).

**NOTE for Elecraft K3 users: To connect to the K3 using the included speaker cable, you will either need to run an audio cable with a 3.5mm stereo plug (tip connected only) into a 3.5mm mono jack, or one of our ALD-009 cables, or you can also use a 3.5mm stereo plug to connect the cable and plug it from your K3 into the Line-In jack on the desktop MKII speaker (ALD-007).
