The Diamond AZ-504 is a mobile dual-band antenna for VHF (2 meters) and UHF (70 centimeters) that excels in compactness, ease of use, and reliability. With a total length of just 39 cm, this antenna is ideal for vehicles that regularly navigate low clearances, such as parking garages or carports. The UHF male (PL) connector is integrated directly into the base of the antenna , ensuring secure and quick installation.
Despite its modest size, the AZ-504 delivers excellent performance: up to 50 watts of transmit power, a VSWR of better than 1.5:1 and a durable steel whip make this a reliable antenna for everyday mobile HAM use.
Application tip: A counterweight is not necessary on the 70cm tire. For optimal use on the 2m tire, a good ground connection is essential, for example, via the vehicle's metal surface.
