The Diamond WD330 is a robust and versatile HF dipole antenna based on the T2FD (Tilted Terminated Folded Dipole) principle . This antenna is designed for radio amateurs, shortwave listeners, and professional radio services seeking a broadband solution for the 2- to 30-MHz frequency range.
Thanks to the T2FD design, the antenna delivers stable performance over a wide frequency range without tuning. When mounted horizontally, the antenna behaves like a classic dipole with a directional radiation pattern. Mounting the antenna in an inverted V configuration provides virtually omnidirectional range, ideal for universal use. A sloper configuration is also possible for use from a higher mounting point.
The SWR is around 2:1 up to about 18 MHz and around 3:1 above that. A simple antenna tuner—for example, the built-in tuner in your transceiver—is usually sufficient for efficient operation.
The WD330 comes complete with a 1:6 balun, 30 meters of coaxial cable (5D-2V) with a UHF male connector, and insulators. A plastic suspension rope is optional.
