The K-PO DX-5000 Plus is a powerful and versatile HF transceiver that offers extensive features and programming options. Thanks to the optionally available USB cable and associated software for Windows operating systems, you can easily program and customize the transceiver. The K-PO DX-5000 Plus offers a frequency range of 25.615 to 30.105 MHz for the FM band and can easily switch between standard and export versions without reprogramming.
Among the many improvements in the Plus version is an extensive range of new features. These include the VOX function, CTCSS tones, DCS codes, RX Compander, noise gate, and RX noise reduction, as well as a choice between electret or dynamic microphones. The transceiver is further equipped with 5 kHz frequency tuning steps, improved SSB ALC circuits and additional ventilation openings for reliable operation.

The K-PO DX-5000 Plus also features practical functions such as a built-in SWR meter, a Hi-cut filter, and protection against overvoltage. Easy operation is supported by a clear interface with small LED indicators for important functions such as SWR alerts and Roger Beep. With the scan function, dual watch, and a variable dimmer control, this transceiver offers a versatile and user-friendly experience.
No more programming for standard or export
You do not need to reprogram the device if you want to use the standard or export version. You can easily switch between both bands. FM Band 1 = 28.000 to 29.700 MHz and FM Band 2 = 25.615 to 30.105 MHz
How to switch between bands with the DX-5000:
- Turn off the transceiver
- Press the FUNC and S/RF buttons simultaneously. Hold these buttons down and turn on the radio at the same time.
- You can now switch between band 1 and band 2 by turning the channel switch.
- When you have selected the correct band, press the FUNC button. The display will first show rES and then rEND.
