The Midland Arctic is a professional handheld marine radio designed to meet the communication requirements of any type of sailing area. This electronically advanced VHF transceiver offers access to 57 international channels and is fully protected against dust and immersion to 1 meter (30 minutes) thanks to its rugged metal chassis and IP67 certification .
For maximum safety at sea, the Arctic is equipped with a direct channel 16 emergency button . The built-in Dual Watch and Triple Watch functions allow you to continuously monitor one or more channels simultaneously, with adjustable priority.
The radio is easy to operate, even in the dark, thanks to a backlit keypad and bright LCD display . Included is a powerful Li-Ion 1600mAh battery , and via optional programming software you can adjust settings such as VOX, channel scan, voice announcements, and much more.
