The RM KL-503 is a powerful linear amplifier that delivers top performance in the 25–30 MHz range. For extended use, a well-tuned 50-ohm antenna with a VSWR of <1.5:1 is recommended. For higher loads in modes such as FM and data, it's important to allow for adequate cooling. An untuned antenna or continuous overload can lead to overheating or performance degradation.
