Do you want to get more power from your Sigma HF antenna? With the Sigma UNUN upgrade kit, you can easily transform the popular Sigma HF360 into the more powerful HF360XP version. This high-quality 4:1 UNUN is specially developed for the Sigma Euro-Comm SE HF360 and SE X80 vertical HF antennas and offers a significant power upgrade for serious radio amateurs.
The upgrade allows the antenna to be used with powers up to 1 kW PEP in normal amateur use such as SSB and CW. This makes this Sigma UNUN an ideal choice for users who want to expand their station with a power amplifier or want to use more transmitting power during contests, DX connections, and daily use.
Upgrade your HF360 to HF360XP
The Sigma HF360 is known as a versatile multi-band vertical HF antenna. With this original Sigma upgrade kit, the standard UNUN is replaced by a more robust 4:1 version that can handle higher powers.
This allows you to upgrade your existing HF360 to an HF360XP configuration without purchasing a completely new antenna. A smart and cost-efficient solution for radio amateurs who want to future-proof their installation.
Developed for high power
The Sigma UNUN upgrade kit is designed for a maximum power of 1 kW PEP for intermittent amateur use such as:
- SSB
- CW
- Sporadic digital modes
For digital modes with a continuous carrier wave, such as FT8, RTTY, and similar applications, a maximum power of 200 Watts is recommended to prevent overloading the UNUN.
Key features
- Original Sigma 4:1 UNUN upgrade kit
- Upgrade from HF360 to HF360XP possible
- Suitable for Sigma SE HF360 and Sigma SE X80
- Power handling up to 1 kW PEP for SSB and CW
- Easy replacement of the existing UNUN
Easy installation
The upgrade is supplied as a complete replacement UNUN and is specially designed for mounting on the Sigma HF360 and Sigma X80.
The connection is simple:
The grey wire is connected to the radiating antenna part
The black wire is attached to the antenna bracket with the supplied rivets
This allows the existing antenna to be adjusted relatively easily without major changes to the construction.
Important when using a power amplifier
When using this Sigma UNUN in combination with a powerful HF amplifier, Sigma advises always placing an external antenna tuner (ATU) between the amplifier and the antenna. This helps prevent unwanted loading of the UNUN and contributes to a longer lifespan of both the antenna and the connected equipment.
Original Sigma replacement part
In addition to upgrading existing antennas, this UNUN is also ideal as a replacement part when the original UNUN has been damaged. In some cases, the SO-239 connector may come loose due to excessive force when tightening a PL-259 connector. With this original replacement unit, you can repair the antenna quickly and reliably.
