The Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone allows you to communicate hands-free with your 27MHz transceiver (CB radio or 27MC transceiver). This high-quality gooseneck microphone is equipped with a 6-pin connector with President/Stabo wiring that you can connect directly to the microphone input of your transceiver . This gooseneck is compatible with many President and Stabo models.
What is VOX and how does it work?
VOX stands for Voice Activated Transmission. This means that the microphone is automatically activated when it detects voice and deactivates when the sound stops. This enables hands-free communication without manual operation.
Ideal for truck drivers and earthmoving operators
The Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone is specially designed for use in large vehicles such as trucks, cranes, shovels, bulldozers etc. Where the 27MC transceiver is mounted above the steering wheel or windscreen in the cabin, you can direct the flexible gooseneck in the direction of the driver.
Please note: In some countries, including France and Germany, it has been illegal to manually operate a microphone while driving since 1 July 2020. Using a VOX microphone like this one can avoid fines.
