The Yaesu FTM-150EASP offers true dual-band operation with two different receivers on different bands or within the same band (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V). The full dot-matrix display graphically provides a clear and sharp image of the radio's operational status. The front panel is detachable and with the optional swing-head - SJMK-500 - flexible angle adjustment is possible for easy mobile operation.
Powerful and reliable performance
With an output power of 55W on VHF and 50W on UHF (selectable 55W/50W, 25W, 5W), the heavy-duty cooling fin with FACC (Funnel Air Convection Conductor) ensures stable and reliable transmission performance.
Superior sound quality
The built-in front speaker combined with the main unit speaker delivers a total of 6W of high-quality sound (3W: front speaker / 3W: main unit). The volume level of the main unit is adjustable (0-100%) compared to the front speaker, allowing users to set their preference.
Advanced features for extended communication
- Super-DX function: Increases receiver sensitivity and improves reception of weak signals. Combined with the new ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processing Unit), this ensures reliable audio quality and an extended communication range.
- PMG (Primary Memory Group): Assign up to 5 VFO or memory channel frequencies to the PMG. The reception status of the PMG channels is displayed in real time with a bar graph. Switchable between AUTO and MANUAL mode for flexible operation.
- CFL (Customized Function List): Register up to 9 frequently used functions from the 62 menus for quick access.
- MAG (Memory Auto Grouping): Memory slots can be automatically grouped and recalled by band. The new "My Group" function allows you to select any memory channel, regardless of the band.
- VFO band skip function: Hide bands that are not normally used.
- High-resolution band scope: Display up to 47 channels and receive the signal at the marker by turning the left or right rotary knob.
