The Comet GP-98N is a high-gain 3-band base antenna , ideal for use on 144MHz (2m), 430MHz (70cm) and 1200MHz (23 cm). Thanks to the wide reception band of 100-170 MHz, 350-470 MHz and 840-1400 MHz, this antenna is suitable for both transmitting and broadband receiving.
Advanced technology for maximum performance
The Comet GP-98N uses Comet's innovative SLC (Super Low-loss Coaxial System), which was specially developed to significantly improve the gain of dual-band and tri-band antennas. This is achieved by the Air-Core Type Shaping Element Phase System and the use of phosphor bronze elements , which minimize signal loss during phase shifts.
The GP-98N is fully factory tuned, requiring no further adjustments. The rugged fiberglass construction provides weather resistance and durability, making it ideal for extended outdoor use.

This antenna is easy to install and works perfectly with transceivers such as the Kenwood TS-2000 and Icom IC-910.
