The Firestik II FS4 27MHz CB Antenna is a high performance tunable 27MHz antenna ideal for cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles and off-road vehicles. The patented tuning mechanism allows you to easily tune the antenna for optimum SWR without the use of tools. This ensures maximum transmit and receive performance on all 27MHz frequencies including AM, FM and SSB.

Excellent performance for CB communication
The Firestik II FS4 is based on the proven KW series, but offers additional convenience thanks to the adjustable tip. This allows you to easily reduce the SWR and ensure optimal signal transmission. The antenna is designed for use on metal surfaces or in combination with a Firestik mounting bracket (ground required). For even better coverage, it can also be used in a dual (co-phased) configuration on larger vehicles.
Installation and adjustment
For best performance, the Firestik II FS4 antenna must be properly tuned to its mounting location. This is easily accomplished with the tunable tip: simply remove the protective plastic tip and turn the adjustment screw up or down to optimize SWR. A properly tuned antenna will provide stronger signals and prevent damage to your CB radio.
Important installation tips
- Ground Required: This antenna must be mounted to a metal surface or bracket for proper operation.
- Remove insulating coatings: When mounting to painted, powder coated or anodized surfaces, the coating must be removed for a good electrical connection.
- Use a Firestik Stud Mount: this ensures a solid and reliable ground connection.
