The Gear Keeper RT2-4212 Mic Keeper in the Stars and Stripes design is a compact and robust microphone retractor, ideal for use in trucks, boats, and other vehicles. This handy system prevents microphones from wandering around and ensures your 27MC CB microphone always remains within easy reach.

When using a 27MC transmitter, CB radio, or other transceiver, the microphone must be returned to its holder after each call. This can be especially difficult while driving or sailing. The Gear Keeper Mic Keeper solves this problem with an automatic retractor, similar to what you see in American trucks and movies. The microphone is attached to a retractable stainless steel lanyard with a spring mechanism, allowing it to automatically return to its place after use.
Should an emergency arise where you need both hands and drop the microphone, it will instantly retract back into the Gear Keeper. This prevents the microphone from wandering around or getting in the way.
