The high-quality boom microphone is securely mounted to the sun visor and features a flexible gooseneck for optimal positioning. The PTT (Push-To-Talk) control is attached to the gear lever, allowing you to easily switch between listening and speaking with a single press – without disrupting your vision or steering.
The set is plug-and-play and operates on 12VDC. If there's a 5V sticker on the power cord, this is a manufacturing defect – the set operates only on 12V. The AV-1KM also features adjustable microphone sensitivity and interchangeable connection cables, making it easy to adapt to various radios with a 6-pin microphone connector.
