This Magnum AV-1KMY hands-free set is compatible with Yeasu 27MHz transceivers using an RJ12 connector . Please note that this hands-free set is not suitable for the Yaesu FT857 and Yaesu FT897 transceivers.
Remark:
The microphone is mounted under the bulkhead bolt of the sun visor. Make sure it's securely fastened and the cable is routed safely. Also, make sure the microphone is angled so it doesn't block your forward view.
Info: This Magnum AV-1KMY Yaesu hands-free set consists of a microphone boom that connects to the interface. The switch box is connected by a cable to the microphone jack of the 27 MHz transceiver. This switch box has up/down buttons and a switch for switching from transmit to receive.
The curved interface makes it easy to mount to a gear lever with the included rubber ring. The microphone gain can also be adjusted on the interface. Note: The CB version requires a 12V power supply. This set is therefore ideal for use by crane operators and crane operators.
