Midland GB1-R kit

Midland is the first on the market to introduce a PMR 446 mobile transceiver called Midland GB1. The Midland GB1 is reminiscent of a 27 MHz transceiver, but is a PMR 446 transceiver with a frequency range from 446.00625 to 446.09375 MHz and a transmission power of 0.5 Watt. The Midand GB1 has a flip function allowing you to mount the Midland GB1 with the speaker facing up or down. The display can be set so that it can be read in all positions.

The integrated (this cannot be dismantled) magnetic base antenna has a fixed coaxial cable with a length of 4.0 meters and can be placed on, for example, the roof of a vehicle, boat, etc. so that you have considerably more range. The Midland GB1 only works on 12 Volts.

The Midland GB1 is ideal for use in a camper, boat, etc. or for security/construction work. The Midland GB1 can also be used as a base station in combination with an external 12 Volt power supply. The Midland GB1 communicates with all other Midland PMR 446 radios such as the Midland G5, G6, G7, G8, G10 and others

Software (optional) is available for the Midland GB-1 for programming the channels and frequencies.
