The SSB SeaTex 10 SHF2 coaxial cable is an extremely flexible, low-loss and halogen-free communication cable that is specially designed for maritime and offshore applications. With its DNV GL certification, this cable meets the highest shipbuilding standards and is ideal for use on ships, oil platforms, wind turbines and other maritime installations.
The outer sheath of the SeaTex 10 is made of a special thermoplastic copolymer (SHF2), which makes the cable extremely resistant to heat, cold, oil, salt water and UV radiation. These robust features ensure a long service life, even in the most demanding environments. The SeaTex 10 is based on the successful design of the Ecoflex 10 coaxial cable and offers excellent attenuation values, high flexibility and a small bend radius, which allows installation in tight spaces.
With a frequency range of up to 6 GHz and a temperature range of -55 °C to 85 °C, the SeaTex 10 combines the benefits of Ecoflex coaxial cables with the specific requirements of marine environments. This makes the SeaTex 10 the perfect choice for reliable and sustainable communications in offshore and maritime sectors.
