The Target Blu Eye 2 LED is a revolutionary road safety system that warns you in advance of approaching police, fire, ambulance, and other emergency vehicles, including unmarked vehicles. This system increases your safety and that of other road users by receiving signals from the TETRA/C2000 network, which includes 800 channels, including the new high-speed TETRA channels recently introduced by the EU.
Unique and patented. The Target Blu Eye 2 LED is globally patented and alerts you to emergency vehicles in your vicinity, regardless of whether these vehicles have their sirens and flashing lights activated. The LED display is specifically designed for mounting on the rearview mirror or interior mirror and comes with the Track VCD dipole antenna.
Not intended for speed trap signaling: While the Target Blu Eye 2 LED can help you reduce your speed when alerted, it is not intended as a speed trap system.
Also works abroad The TETRA emergency network is used in several European countries, such as Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, Croatia, Austria, Great Britain, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Advanced technology. In the Netherlands, the system is called C2000, in Belgium ASTRID, and in the UK AIRWAVE. Some countries, such as France and Spain, use older networks that are not fully compatible with the Target Blu Eye 2 LED.
Audible and visual warnings: The Target Blu Eye 2 LED recognizes four different emergency vehicle communication signals and provides a specific audible alert for each. The system also provides visual warnings via a signal strength meter in the display, which shows the estimated distance to the approaching emergency vehicle.
Sensitivity settings
You can choose between two sensitivity modes:
- Highway Mode (Freeway/Express) : Maximum sensitivity for long-range detection.
- City mode (town/village) : Lower sensitivity for use in urban areas.
The detection range varies from several hundred meters to about one kilometer, depending on the environment and the selected sensitivity setting.
