Based on Firestik's successful mobile antenna, this base version was developed at the request of enthusiastic users – and performs even better.
The radiating element is a 5/8 wave design with a gain of 6 dBi. The core is made of solid fiberglass (9.5 mm thick) and tightly wound with insulated copper wire. The antenna is approximately 114 cm long and is fully encased in white, UV-resistant PVC shrink tubing for long-lasting protection.
What makes this 5/8 wave antenna extra special is the complete mounting kit. You receive a sturdy combination of an angle bracket, U-bolt, unique hub plate, and antenna stud. This allows you to easily mount the antenna on any mast up to 38 mm in diameter. The four included aluminum radials ensure a stable radiation pattern and optimal reception. Thanks to the SO-239 connection, you can effortlessly connect a coaxial cable with a PL-259 connector. Please note: coaxial cable with PL-259 is not included.
