The Gear Keeper RT2-4022 is a high-quality lapel microphone retractor , specially designed to securely and firmly mount your microphone. Whether you work in the fire service, industrial, or security field, this Gear Keeper microphone retractor ensures your microphone always hangs in the right place, without dangling, getting under your feet, or needing to be clipped back in place.
With a retraction force of 340 grams , a retractable length of 51 cm , and an extremely strong nylon-coated stainless steel cable, the RT2-4022 is built for intensive and professional use. The retractor can withstand temperatures up to 204°C (400°F), is saltwater-resistant, and has a breaking strength of a whopping 27.2 kg ( 60 lbs) – perfect for demanding work environments.
Thanks to the clever Quick Connect (Q/C-1) system, you can quickly connect or disconnect the microphone, and the included lapel mic lanyard allows you to easily attach it to your gear. The sturdy threaded stud allows you to securely mount the retractor to a radio pocket, webbing strap, or mic tab.
